"It was really a huge surprise when Michel's family took me to the Chatueau de Malbruck, Manderen."

A lot of the stuff I've accumulated over the last few years of visiting in Europe. I thought was really interesting. Summer is the best time to visit the place. Nothing compares when you enjoy every landscapes you see along the way.

I am always happy and so pleased whenever I visit Europe. It's so rich with many mediaval sights and natural landscapes. This time, my visit was not complete without seeing the works of my favourite photographer. I was so happy when i came up close and personal with my favourite photographer, Robert Doisnuea's photo exhibit in France.

I was overwhelmed and all amazed by his photos. I really love his images because he got his unique way of taking photos that when you look at those images, it feels like it will automatically connect you  at the same event. Awesome, right!

But first, let me share the outdoor beauty that i've seen before entering the castle.

(Inside the ground - Castle of Malbrouk - Built in the 15th Centrue and Restored in 1996 - The first view, you will see by the time you enter the main door.)

(looking at the main entrance of the chateau)
To know more about the Castle of Malbrouk, here's a short article about the castle.

"The castle of Malbrouk at Menderen is located at a few hundred meters from France's border with Germany. The imposing castle, built in the 15th century, was intended to resist a siege of several days.  Perhaps because of the many legends surrounding the castle, residents of the region are quite fond of it, so much so that they undertook a complete restoration beginning in 1996."

Apart from the beautiful architectural design of the castle. I was also amazed from the view that i've seen when i was up there, at the terrace of the castle.  A beautiful landscape that will relax you after walking outside and inside the chateau.

Oh well, i really hope you enjoyed the landscape view. Let me show you the venue of the photo exhibit. Its actually located inside the Chateau and its on the upper floors. The set up was really good and the presentation of the photos are sorted according to the years' photograph. Here are some venues and how t'was presented.

To conclude the day, the over all castle tour includes several audiovisual presentations including an impressive model constructed from mesh, which describes the various parts of the building to an accompanying light show. Each of the model chambers is illuminated by fiber optics, while areas are lit using conventional lighting. It was a very impressive exhibition.

What I love about Robert Doisneau's perspective is that, it doesn't really matter what kind of camera you are using to describe your events or to portray your subject. I always believe that when you are passionate with what you do, then the rest will naturally follow.

(Below are two huge photos displayed inside the Castle ground. - My favourites too!)  looking at the left side - La Poterne des peupliers, 1932 (the gate of poplar trees, 1932) and top front view - Trois Petits Enfants blancs. Parc Monceau. Paris. 1971 (Three Little Children in White. Parc Monceau. Paris. 1971)
